Blue or Pink... How About Both!!

I was privileged to photograph these 2 little bundles of joy for their 3 month photos. This is Abram and Aisley, both of which I could just eat their CHEEKS. They both have such great personalities and were a pleasure to photograph!

These 2 images are two of my favorite. These justify the cheeks mentioned before. I also wanted you to see that Abram is holding Aisley’s hand in the photo of them together. The big brother (by minutes) is already up to his brotherly duties and watching out for his little sister!

Thank you to Abram and Aisley’s parents who are GREAT PEOPLE for giving me the chance to meet these two little cuties.

New and Sweet!

Take a look at this brand new sweet baby boy. This is Sabastian at only a couple weeks old. He was very comfortable on the towels in front of the old door. I thought Sabastian need a little something extra while on the towels so I gift wrapped him for his parents!

Thanks so much for letting me meet Sabastian and his Aunt who joined us at the session. He’s a KEEPER!

6 months - cute as a button

I would love to share some photos of this very smiley little boy! We went out to the Sunken Gardens for his 6 month photos then we went to the studio and he was the definition of great. His bright blue eyes and his fun personality came out so great during this session.

I have been photographing him since he came home from the hospital and every time I see him, he is nothing but smiles. He makes my job very easy for all we had to do is set him down and he would look at me and laugh. Laughing is part of his DNA – or I am just funny looking to him, but either way his photos are a perfect representation of how much fun he is to photograph.

Thanks to his parents, who are great people, for giving me the opportunity to photograph this fun little boy and their family.

Senior Session

Today was a great day to be outside and photographing. There was a little bit of a cloud cover which Dustin and I took advantage of. These are 3 of my faves from Dustin's Senior session at the studio and in an alley down town.

Thanks Dustin for giving me the opportunity to photograph your senior photos!

If you are interested in having your senior photos taken by Casey Fritton Photography, please send me an email or contact me by phone 402.416.8173.

“I now pronounce you…”

I would like to say congrats to Garrett and Hollie who tied the knot on Saturday, June 6, 2009!!!!

This was the first of many weddings this year and it went off with a bang!  Garrett and Hollie are two GREAT PEOPLE with two GREAT FAMILIES.

With the stress of the wedding and everything that goes with it, this couple seemed to be in their own loving world.  You could see in both their eyes all night that the love was there and I found out it has been there for many years.

It was an honor to get to know these two wonderful people and their loving, VERY FUN families during their wedding day.

Thank you so much for treating me as if I was part of your family!!!!

Congrats and the best of luck with your married life.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!

I am very excited, proud and relieved to share this photo with you.  I would like you to meet Carson Michael Fritton.  Carson is the latest addition to the Fritton family.

He was born just last weekend on May 31, 2009 at 7:55am.  Everything went very well as we have been holding our breath for the last 9 months!  We were all so very excited to be able to bring this little guy home.

Mama and Carson are doing great and we are all grinning from ear to ear as he is here with us and Collin can kiss his little brother when ever he wants to!

Thanks to all of you that have sent emails, texts and phone calls for all your support during this.  It is a huge weight off our backs and we can now start enjoying this little sweet boy!

Thanks so much again,

The Fritton’s

WE MOVED!!!

There is some news I want to share with all of you.  We put our house up for sell and it sold in 7 days.  This was a good problem to have in this housing market but we are now living in an apartment for the next 5-6 months until our house is completed.  We closed on the selling of our house this last Friday and I now have studio space in the Peanut Butter Factory Building across from the old P.O. Pears now the Red 9.  The exact address for the new studio is: 315 S. 9th Street Suite #101, Lincoln, NE 68508.

The space is great and in a very cool old building!  It is very close to down town so parking is not the best but you can park just outside of the building and I will pay your parking meter!!

Along with all this my wife is now due in about 2 weeks.  We have been holding our breath for the last 8 ½ months and things seem to be looking good for this little guy.  We will all breath a little easier when this baby boy is allowed to come home with us.

I will post photos of the new boy as soon as he gets here.

Big Brown Eyes for MSYC

This is a little boy I photographed for the annual Montessori School for Young Children (MSYC) photography fundraiser.

Take a look at those big brown eyes! Just to die for. This is Quentin. He was GREAT to work with!! Quentin ran up and down the play yard at MSYC and I followed right behind. He even stopped for a pose or two during the short time we had.

MSYC and Casey Fritton Photography hold a photo fundraiser 2 times a year to help raise money for the school. If you are interested in investing into your child’s education you can contact MSYC at 489.4366.

Thanks Quentin for being such a great little brown eyed model!!

Perfect baby boy

As a 4th cousin, or 2nd cousin twice removed as I was informed, he is a keeper!

This is my cousin’s beautiful baby boy Gavin. He is 14 days old in these photos and was a perfect little boy. Gavin looked great and smelled even better. He smiled when I asked him to and his parents did too.

I was very excited to be given the chance to photograph Gavin and his family. Our session was done at their home and everything went very smooth. To my surprise, there was no messy accidents which is VERY rare during newborn sessions – this boy was born to potty train.

Thanks to Gavin’s parents and to Gavin himself for a great newborn session!

Look at this little cutie!

These are two of my favorite photos from a photo session last weekend.  This little girl is in between 6 and 7 months.  She is such a cute little thing!  You know you are going to have a great session when you walk into the client's house and the little girl looks you directly in the eye and gives you a huge smile.

A big thank you to her parents who were kind enough to let me invade their home and disassemble the living room!  The old wood floors and great looking home made a huge impact in the photos.

Testing out New Backgrounds

I just received 2 new backgrounds today from Silverlake www.silverlakephoto.com and I just needed to test them out.  I grabbed my most loyal subject and photographed him for quite some time.  This is my son Collin.  He always knows when he is getting put to work and tries to bargain his way into some kind of prize.  This one was for some fruit snacks and a sucker.  I think it paid off - Thanks Collin!

Formal Hats & Piggy Mittens

This is Jacob and Olivia at there hats and mittens session. Jacob was sporting his fashionable formal coat along with a pesky cold he was trying to shake.

I got Jacob in his serious pose with his hand on his chin. What a sport he was as he posed for me along with not feeling so well. THANKS for hanging in there Jacob!! I think this photo makes you look a couple years older!

Olivia was a riot! She was modeling her great looking pig hat and mittens along with her great coat. I didn’t know if there was a cute little girl or a cute little piggy walking into the studio – either way the photos we took turned out great.

A huge thanks to the two of you kids and your wonderful parents for taking part of the hats and mittens session with me.

The photo says it all

Look at this little ball of joy. This is Noah. I was visited by Noah and his parents for his 6 month photos. I have been photographing Noah since his newborn session and he has always been a wonderful treat to work with. He is always a joy to be around and always puts a smile on my face. Our session was done in record time as Noah was full of smiles and (as always) was in a great mood!

This photo was one of my absolute favorites from his session. I asked his parents to bring in a stocking cap for the shoot and they brought in the perfect hat. I just love Noah’s expression on his face. This photo, to me, exemplifies how loving and happy this little guy really is.

Thank you Noah & Mom and Dad! WOW, these are great!

FREE session if today is your birthday!

As many of you know, and many may not know, a year ago today is the day that your second little boy, Carter, was born into this world.

I can still remember my wife tell me as we were heading to the hospital, “Our lives are going to be much different from now on!” At that point in time we had no idea how drastically Carter would change our lives.

Carter was born at 9:07 am and came into this world not able to breath on his own. He was taken directly into the NICU at St. E’s here in Lincoln, NE. 9 days latter he was transfered into the NICU at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Test after test and day after day, we were at his side for the 7 short weeks he was with us. Today is a very bittersweet day for the three of us. Carter would have been one year old today.

In celebration of how much Carter means to me and my family, I will be giving a FREE Newborn Session to any new baby that is born on this day, January 17, 2009. Please call and we will set up an appointment for you and your baby to be photographed.

The best time to get in for your newborn session is with in 2 weeks of your baby's birth.
